• Without logo: the complete QR keeps H correction for an isolated comparison.
• With protected logo zone: the same payload removes modules from the padded center and embeds the uploaded logo.

How the protected logo zone works

• 18% target width: The logo is fitted to 18% of the QR symbol width, with a five-module minimum for small symbols.
• 2.2-module padding: Data modules are removed from a padded central zone instead of placing an opaque plate over the QR.
• Automatic H correction: Adding a logo switches error correction to H because the center intentionally carries less QR data.
• Final placement test: Exported size, surface, lighting, camera, and surrounding design still need a real scan test before publication or print.

What the evidence means

The renderer and automated tests verify centered raster embedding, module removal, transparent logo placement, and automatic H correction. A cross-device logo-size scan experiment is still an open publication gate, so Scanfolk does not claim that every uploaded logo or placement is scan-tested.
