At a glance
- Standard: your input → browser QR renderer → PNG or SVG.
- Creative: your input → generation service → exact-payload scan gate → result.
- Short link: scanner → Scanfolk redirect → your destination.
Standard: from content to download
Select a payload type and enter its required fields. Website uses a URL; Wi-Fi includes network name, security and password; vCard contains contact fields. Standard validates the input and renders the QR locally.
Choose shape, colors, background and an optional logo. A logo uses a protected center and high error correction. With tracking off, generate and export PNG or SVG without signing in. Changing the content changes the encoded QR: test the final export after your last edit.
Creative: template, generation, verification
Choose a template, configure the supported content and presentation, then sign in to generate. The generation service renders the artwork and checks the finished output against the exact payload. Generation runs in the background queue; a ready result can be opened, downloaded and found again in History.
The final automated gate uses multiple camera-like image transformations, including resizing, JPEG compression, blur and luminance changes. A decoding result must match the requested payload. An output that fails the required gate is not released as a successful result. A source preview's scan badge is not a guarantee for a new generation.
Direct content or a short link
A direct QR contains the submitted content itself. A website QR can instead contain a Scanfolk short address that redirects to the destination. Optional product tracking records scan times and counts for that link. Direct static QR codes do not depend on a Scanfolk redirect; short links depend on the redirect service remaining available.
Test the actual use
Download the final file, scan it and check the opened destination or imported information. For print, test at the intended physical size on the actual material, with more than one phone and realistic lighting and distance. Preserve contrast and the clear border around the QR.
Automated image checks do not establish iOS/Android contact import, Wi-Fi joining, physical print quality or every camera's behavior. A link's destination can also change or stop working even when its QR still decodes correctly.
